Roshani and Rupesh

A little blog loving, the photos in the link below set to music..

About two weeks ago I photographed Roshani and Rupesh’s wedding in Las Colinas at the awesome Omni Mandalay Hotel the decoration was impeccably done as usual by Elegant Affairs and the ballroom was lit perfectly by Absolute Entertainment. Roshani and Rupesh wanted a very non traditional and had an outdoor ceremony. The weather was nice, not too hot or too cold and Elegant Affairs created a lovely mandap for the couple to be married in. We had a lot of fun photographing the couple, i’m looking foward to releasing the full gallery in a few weeks and then working on the album with the couple. Here are some photos from the event… I think ohhh about 57 of them, click on the photo below to view the full preview…

About a three weeks ago I photographed Yasmeen and Fahad’s wedding over at the amazing Crescent Court Hotel in Dallas. If you’ve never been there, it’s an experience, the hotel is part of a HUGE comples with shops and dining and clubs within walking distance from the hotel. One of my favorite stores Stanley Korshak is also part of the complex so it was kinda tough to shoot there and not have the urge to shop, but that’s a different post.

Yasmeen had lined up an impressive line up of vendors including yours truly. The make up was done by my amazing (and equally beautiful) friend Randee Strand who owns About Face Artistry. The event was beautifully managed by a group of lovely ladies specifically Crystal Fraiser with the Crescent and also by Brandy and Angela of ABL Event Creations. The reception was rocked by the lighting talents of Richard McClure and also by DJ Riz who kept the dance floor hopping.

Yasmeen and Fahad really wanted a non-traditional muslim wedding and I have to say that this wedding was about as non-traditional as they get. From the hair and make up to the ceremony where all the friends and family were witness to the union to the reception, it was completely non-traditional. They did it right by surrounding themselves with their friends and vendors who helped see them through the whole process. So before I show the photos I have to say thanks to Yasmeen, Fahad and their families for truly making this a special event for me.

I had a great time with you guys.. Now without further delay, the photos, and there are a lot of them…

Full Gallery coming November 20th.
