Today I joined Payton and Ryan at the Fort Worth Japanese gardens to shoot their engagement session. I have to tell ya, the sheer amount of rain we have had in the Dallas/Fort Worth area has made any place with greenry into a sauna and we felt it today. Even with the heat and the humidity Payton and Ryan were real troopers and I had a great time hanging with them. We shot for about 1.5 hours at the Japanese gardens and then headed out to my secret shooting spot in downtown Fort Worth to finish up.
Here are some of the images from the session

This is my signature shot, I just love the intimacy of the shot.

The bamboos add interesting lines to the image here, altough the kiss isn’t bad either.

I decided to go with a high color look for this shot, the day light was changing so fast that the bridge was in shade one second and then bright sunny harsh light the next.

Payton said this is the peeping tom shot but you just can’t pose smiles like the one she has here so you just have to have faith in the love shared by the couple and let it unfold.

Today I wanted to go to a place that was not as pretty. I just love the urban decay and the texture that comes along with it. When you have a couple as good looking at Ryan and Payton sometimes you need to let their beauty shine through.
Thank you Ryan and Payton for making this fun for me and I hope you had as much fun as I did. I am really looking forward to the bridal session and to the actual wedding day. There are a lot more images from the session that I will post in a week and a half so stay tuned to the blog.
