A few weeks ago, I photographed Chrisha and Vik’s E- Session at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. They were such a fun, laid back couple to work with. I am super excited to photograph their wedding this weekend.

Check back for their wedding pictures.

Without further ado, here’s their E-session:

Ok so this is going to be a LONG post…  and that means I have more than 50 images on this one blog post.   Everyonce in a while you meet people that you just click with and I mean you meet them and 45 minutes later you’re discussing sports and how to build the ultimate computer…

I met Lindsay and Steven first at the Cheesecake Factory up by the Northpark Mall, and this was our first meeting, just to kinda get to know each other.  20 minutes into the meeting Steven and I were geeking out about the size of our hard drives and discussing the ultimate PC, it was then we knew that I would be the perfect photographer for their wedding.

Fast forward to their e-session and we had a GREAT time in Fort Worth and captured some AMAZING images, Lindsay’s bridal again was awesome and we had a real fun time at the venue photographing and reconnecting after a while.

This wedding was no exception in the amount of fun I had working with Lindsay and Steven. Their special day filled with friends and family

During their Reception, Kristin came up to me and asked me to follow Lindsay and Steven to take a picture with the president. The whole time I was thinking “Okay, I don’t mind taking a photograph of Lindsay and Steven with the President of Brook Hollow” oh little did I know that she had meant former President George W. Bush.  Cool stuff like this pops up often at my weddings.

Here are the vendors that made this event simply amazing:

Simply Perfect Weddings (Kristin)

Freesia

M&M Linens

Absolute Entertainment

High Camp Media

Emerald City Band

Romano’s Bakery

Brook Hollow Country Club

Now i’ll stop yappin and let you guys enjoy the photos taken by yours truly..  Check back in a few weeks for a link to the full gallery and please feel free to leave comments on here.

I loved Lindsay’s dress and right away saw a vintage look to the image, using my trusty lighting tech a.k.a Ali.

Linday wore Ballerina shoes during the ceremony and I absolutely had to just hang them somewhere.

Awesome, awesome detail on the front of Lindsay’s dress

Freesia always does a GREAT job with the floral

I love spending time with the girls before the ceremony, it’s a nice time for them to just be themselves.

I think they wanted to have some fun

CUTE!!!

Can’t wait to work on the other 6 images in this sequence..

Lindsay gave Steven a pair of customized cuff links

I love this shot and it came out exactly how I had envisioned it in my head.

Isn’t he handsome?

This shot we did specially for Lindsay…

I just love the architecture of this church, even tough they would not let me use any flash during the processional, I still wanna give them props.

A tough shot to get but I can only imagine the thoughts going through Steven’s head.

A shot of Lindsay coming down the aisle.

Right after the ceremony with the wedding party, I have to say we had a GREAT time and everyone was SOOO cooperative.

I love this sequence of shots..   They are so much in love..

So I scanned in a piece of sheet music laying around and decided to just play around a bit.

Absolute Entertainment did an outstanding job with the event lighting.

Love the details..

The first dance

The amazing colors

The dip.

The President.   Yep ladies and gents that’s the real deal.

The father daughter dance started off normally

and then they got a bit funky..

Then they really revved things up a bit.

The band was amazing!!

Loved the color scheme they had worked up for the lighting.

The band started playing for just Steven and Lindsay

Love the rings…

I love the sparklers, even tough I feel as if i’m gonna catch fire each time i’m around them I love them.

I had a great time with you guys!!! Looking forward to working on your album…

Hey guys,

A few weeks ago, I had a blast photographing Priya and AJ’s E-session at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. These two were an awesome couple to work with and they enjoyed spending time with one another which made it easy for me to capture them. Their wedding takes place on November 28th of this year at Four Seasons Hotel in Las Colinas.  I am really looking forward to their big day.

Now on to their photos:

Hey guys,

This is Kirtna, Humza’s studio manager blogging for him while he’s out of town.

Now that we have celebrated Lindsay’s wedding with her friends and family, I can go ahead and post a few photos from her bridal session, which were taken at the beautiful Brook Hollow Country Club, which was also the venue for her wedding. Lindsay looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress, and was lots of fun to work with as always.  Kristin Hoffman from Simply Perfect Weddings helped Lindsay with her gown and all of her wedding day festivities.

Hope you enjoy.

Vendors:

Mandap Creations

Hyatt Regency DFW (Amy)

Hakim Sons-Shezad Manjee

A few weeks ago I had the honor of photographing Kirtan and Trushyap’s wedding in Dallas.   Their entire event took place at the Hyatt Regency hotel in the DFW airport.  They had Mandap creations from Houston do the decor for the event and all prior events which took place at their home and at the GCS center in Grand Prairie.

Kirtan and Trushayp’s wedding was a non-traditional/traditional hindu wedding.  Traditonal in the sense that it had all the joy and love of a normal hindu wedding with her and Trushyap’s families being honored and brought together by the rituals.   Non-Traditional in the sense that they did not have a reception but decided to spend the time with their families and friends that evening.

Here is a small slideshow and then the link to their full gallery for you to view..

Without further ado, I hope you enjoy a glimpse of Kirtan and Tru’s wedding.

Megan and Satish were wonderful to work with, they were two of the sweetest people I have ever met. Their wedding was a collaboration of east meets west, an American and Manglorian wedding with both of the cultures and traditions adapted in to make their special day even more special.

Their wedding ceremony took place at St Ann’s Church in Coppell.  This church was absolutely beautiful, it was filled with many ornate details making it even more traditional and classy.  Their ceremony was very intimate and filled with much love by everyone there.

The couple’s portrait session was a blast to shoot. The two had so much fun around the lake area, walking along the lake, playing in the trees and even Megan was adventurous by walking into the freezing cold lake in her wedding gown, seeing them having a great time together made my job even more easier.

The wedding reception on the other hand, was non- traditional and lots of fun.  The reception took place at Little Pete’s on Lake Grapevine, where there was a laid back atmosphere and you could see everyone enjoying themselves. Their decorations filled the room with vivid, lively colors bringing out the South Asian flair.  Even Megan and Satish made a change of outfits to match the South Asian theme.

Here are some pictures highlighting Megan and Satish’s wedding. Hope you enjoy:)

someone comes along that is just annoying and I don’t mean like your ex girlfriend coming by annoying and no not even your relatives coming over for thanksgiving and staying till christmas annoying.. I mean annoying to the core of your being, annoying like nothing has ever annoyed you before. You wish for a HUGE disco ball to fall on their head and crack it open.. You wish that the sidewalk they traverse turn into one huge banana peel and that they slide on in speeding their way into oblivion.. You know what i’m talking about; well I found mine..

Yes ladies and gents it is the strange and very annoying Tatiana Del Toro from American Idol Season 8. Last night I sat watching the show gleefully, armed with oreos and a glass of milk to celebrate this idiots demise… to see Simon finally crush her into a steeping pool of tears, into a blubbering mess that she is always 2 steps short of. To turn this “DIVA” into a mess that we all would jump with joy to see……. Well as fate would have it, SHE ACTUALLY MADE THE FINAL 36…..

What the heck??? I am devastated folks, seriously, all that I know to be well with this world has now been turned over on to it’s head. Now I hope…. nay, I pray that this girl hits a HUGE demise and gets voted off in the first week of the live shows.

Oh so annoying!!! Oh great disco ball in the sky, where are you???

Lifestyle Family Portraiture goes above and beyond the typical rigid family portrait photography that keeps you confined in a studio, in which you lose you and your families personalites. As usual, I like to do things a bit different, breaking all the perceived notions about family portraits I decided to start offering Lifestyle Family Portraiture in my signature style.

In Lifestyle sessions, I want the families to really explore themselves in a place where they can truly be themselves. This place can be their homes, parks, churches or pratically anywhere that makes you and your family so comfortable that your true nature comes out. Capturing laughter, children playing and the sacred bond between families are the subtle moments I love to capture.

Here is a sample session I took of my friends John and Kacie and their daughters Mallory and Madison. We had a really great time and the results speaks for itself.

To kick off the new year, I am offering these sessions at a drastically reduced price. What a great way to start off the new year by getting a lifestyle session of your own.

My second to last wedding of the year was Malisha and Bhavesh in San Antonio, you can read the blog post and see 60+ photos by clicking on the image below.
